Acuscope / Myopulse therapy

 The Electro Acuscope/Myopulse Therapy System is commonly referred to as the “best kept secret in the equine performance world.” Its unique abilities such as the biofeedback system and infinitely variable waveforms allow us to optimize the body’s natural healing process. Some commonly treated conditions include strained or torn muscles, ligaments and tendons, inflammation, nerve damage, neurological disorders, and pain from athletic injury. The Acuscope and Myopulse instruments act hand in hand to provide a pain management and accelerated recovery modality, which all equids can benefit from. The Electro Acuscope/Myopulse stands out from other modalities for many reasons; one being that these instruments cannot overstimulate the cells and cause harm like some other therapy systems. Without a specific calibration for animal tissue or monitoring system, other modalities pose a risk of overstimulation that leads to negative effects. Furthermore, these instruments utilize microcurrent that is the same as the body’s natural current, allowing us to help the horse heal itself rather than attempting to heal them. 

 The Electro Acuscope is the primary instrument which provides indirect access to muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bony areas through its direct access to the central nervous system -where all nerves originate at the brain and the spinal cord. The Acuscope utilizes square wave form, which has been scientifically proven to be most efficient when accessing the central nervous system. The Acuscope attempts to normalize the current in nerve cells, and provides options to evaluate a horse by taking digital readings throughout the body to pinpoint cellular dysfunction and therapeutically monitoring/adjusting treatment.
