"I always dreamed of a life where I could spend all day working hands on to improve horses lives too. As a young girl, I would spend countless hours at the barn, just to get to touch any horse I possibly could. When I came to Cal Poly to study Animal Science, I knew I was capable of doing so much more than working a desk or clinic job. Finding Acuscope/Myopulse Therapy in order to maintain my personal performance horses as well as rehabilitate them from injuries was the first step of a staircase to this dream life. Since then, I have been infatuated with healing as many animals within my power and encouraging their humans to think creatively and openly about animal wellness.
Equitide is a play on the phrase "ebb tide," referring to the point at which the tides of the ocean are balanced in harmony. The name spoke to my deep love for the ocean, but also to the equilibrium I strive to help each client reach. Equitide is more than a name to me- it is a movement that represents holistic healing of animals and a new era of connection between humans and their companions. Welcome to the healing journey- I look forward to helping you and your animals find your equilibrium, so you can do the same to those around you."
